Diagnosis:

Eosinophilic Fasciitis.

Microscopic Description:

The biopsy is of very good size and includes the underlying subcutaneous fatty tissue as well as fascia. The skin shows underlying deep inflammatory condition involving the fascia and subcutaneous fat with lymphoid follicles, plasma cells and inconspicuous Eosinophils associated with hyaline degeneration.
